Cafetieres and Their Significance in Coffee Brewing

A cafetiere is a coffee-brewing product whose method of operation involves pouring hot water onto coarse ground coffee then a plunger that is equipped with a metal filter is immersed to the bottom of the glass beaker so as to press the ground coffee. For many years cafetieres have been used in homes around the world and they have been transformed in terms of design and materials used in making them with the help of innovative technology.

The negative side is that even though you may want to enjoy your coffee cold by leaving it in the jar before taking, coarse ground coffee can acquire sour taste thus making it not comfortable to drink.
